Community Film Workshop is supported, in part, by The Illinois Arts Council, a state agency; CityArts Program 1 grant from the Chicago Office of Tourism and Culture; and The MacArthur Fund for Arts and Culture at The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation.
The Community Film Workshop is in residency at Harriet Harris Park, through the Chicago Park District’s Arts Partners-in-Residence Program, which unites artists and communities in Chicago’s parks.
Community Film Workshop could not provide such a high-quality programming if it were not for its community partnerships. We believe in the power of the media to build community, inspire social change and bring fresh perspectives to difficult and
complex issue of race, ethnicity, class, gender identity and sexual orientation.
